Workshops for Stakeholders
During the workshops by the stakeholders selected topics of regional climate change will be addressed and the needs of stakeholders and some possible adaptation measures will be discussed. On the Polish side, many of the workshops will be held with school classes and thus will sensitise children and young people for the ecologically and economically highly important issue of climate change at an early stage.
Also be addressed planning organizations, tourism organizations, and government employees. For the economic development of the region, e.g., tourism is of great importance. Future trend of increasing temperatures will affect the winter ski tourism. Thus, the winter touristic oriented companies such as hostels, ski rental, etc. need to refocus on tourism activities that are not related to good snow conditions, such as hiking, mountain biking, among others.
